Pacific Primary’s annual school auction is a much-anticipated, family-led event that raises crucial funds to support the school’s robust tuition assistance schemes and creative arts programs. With flexible ticket pricing and a 100% participation rate for donations from every school family—including many heartfelt items like original artworks and homemade cookies—the auction is truly a community endeavor.
Pacific Primary is a mission-driven preschool in the heart of San Francisco dedicated to creating a “childhood” for each student that is filled with discovery, play, love of learning, and deep connections with others.
The foundation for the school is our teachers’ skill, dedication and knowledge which create the exceptional learning environment at Pacific Primary. The teachers provide an emotional climate that is safe, loving and secure, allowing for creativity, meaningful connection and the cultivation of the joy of learning. We believe when children feel respected, they respect their teachers in return.
The great diversity of the school allows children to feel confident about differences and provides them with the ability to welcome change and growth. The school has a uniquely strong commitment to the creative arts with dedicated specialists centered in music, movement, and the expressive arts. Children leave Pacific Primary understanding the importance of inclusion, belonging, community, and empowered to make the world a more just and beautiful place for all.
Pacific Primary was founded in 1974, by a group of parents and Mary Nordland Bodo in San Francisco’s Western Addition neighborhood.
